InsiderTape ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to that information.
We do not collect, store, or process: Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, biometric data, health data, full payment card numbers, or any sensitive personal data categories as defined under applicable privacy law.
Any data we collect is used to: (a) operate and improve the Platform; (b) provide and manage subscriptions; (c) diagnose technical issues; (d) understand aggregate usage patterns; and (e) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
InsiderTape may use minimal functional cookies or browser local storage to preserve your in-session preferences (e.g., selected filters or view state) and to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings; this may affect Platform functionality.
The data displayed on InsiderTape - insider names, trade amounts - is sourced from public government filings including SEC EDGAR (Form 4 filings). All such data is already in the public domain. We do not claim any privacy interest in this data on behalf of the filers, as it is voluntarily submitted to public regulatory bodies as required by law.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Platform and any data it processes. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information.
The Platform relies on third-party services for payment processing (Stripe), price data, hosting, email, and analytics. These providers may collect certain data subject to their own privacy policies. We select providers that maintain reasonable privacy practices, but we are not responsible for their independent data collection.
Server log data is retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes, after which it is deleted. Subscription records are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes. Public filing data aggregated from government sources is retained as long as the Platform operates.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you. To exercise any such rights, contact us through the Platform.
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Please contact us to exercise these rights.
InsiderTape is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent update at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, you may contact us through the Platform interface. We will make reasonable efforts to respond in a timely manner.
